Victor Pantoja, widely acknowledged as a top conguero, was born in Spanish Harlem and has recorded and played with the likes of Willie Bobo, Cal Tjader, Mongo Santamaria, Gabor Szabo, Herbie Hancock, Santana, Azteca, Malo, Buddy Miles, Betty Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Nat Adderly and many more.

Victor plays Tycoon Percussion’s Master Fantasy Series Congas and is currently living in Los Angeles playing regularly with La Combinacion. He also teaches lessons and periodically does clinics and workshops within the LA area.
