Antonio Guerrero is a multi-faceted studio based touring percussionist, who is proficient in many musical genres and styles. He is an award-winning talented Latin musician and composer, arranger who currently resides in Miami, FL. His fresh perspective, dedication and love for the craft have led him to play, perform and/or record with many musical luminaries including Mily Quesada, Sergio Vargas, Bony Cepeda, Ruby Perez internationally renowned Merengue artists and, many others to whom he grow up listening. He is currently a member of the Latin Grammy Academy, Soultone Cymbals and Tycoon Percussion Families. Antonio Guerrero is working on a project of Classic and Latin music fusion with a recognized Violinist,RomelFuenmayor – Assistant Concertmaster of The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO) along with Maestro Eduardo Marturet who has recently named Antonio Guerrero “Tony Conga” as Latin Percussionist Artistic Alliance of The Miami Symphony Orchestra. “Tony Conga” as known in the musical world has been nationally awarded and recognized for his excellence and dedication to music in his native Venezuela. He received awards as best new talent of the year, best percussionist of the year and as arranger and director of the year by the Mara of Gold institution in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Since 2009, he has been working on expansion projects of Latin Music internationally. He is actually a percussionist of the “Somos Las Chikas” Group, a tribute of the “las Chicas del Can” Dominican Republic internationally recognized group, in Miami. Antonio Guerrero was born in Venezuela within a family with great musical influence. His inclination and love for music started at very early age and not only became a Latin percussion teacher but also one of the leading percussionist of his country.
