Chanelsy Cornelis Moniharapon The Netherlands Allround independent percussionplayer. He has played the percussion for more than 30 years in different style of music. Lives in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. Born in The Netherlands in 1964. His parents are from the Moluccan Islands of Indonesia. He studied in 1991 for a month in Havanna Cuba with the great percussion teachers Mario Hauric and Eduardo Espasande. When he came back from Cuba, he started to play and having studio recordings with like George Clinton and the P-funk Allstars, Defunkt, Joclyn Brown, Sonic Surfers, Dutch Latin Rock band Massada, Victoria Wilson James, Donnie mc Clurkin, Marvin Winans and many more. Also he plays the percussion in Holland with some famous Dutch Dj’s like Eric E, Roog, Faya Lourens, Jeffk and many more. Together with his son Gianelli he is regularly performing as a percussion duo and also providing clinics. The last two years has been travelling in more than 11 countries playing the percussion and share his life testimony.
