From Los Angeles, Chris Wabich is a well-known, original voice on drumset, steel drum, and percussion. The variety of artists he works with reflects his versatility as both musician and producer. He is heard with Ludacris, Sting, Leonard Cohen, Stanley Jordan, Brian Johnson (AC/DC) Sheila E., Mark Murphy, the Zappa Family, Larry Koonse, Turkish superstar Omar Faruk, Boogsie Sharpe, and Prog Rock legends Kevin Ayers (Soft Machine), and Richard Sinclair (Caravan). Soundtracks include "Malcolm in the Middle", "American Idol", "Better Homes and Gardens", "Wild California" IMAX, and Lalo Shifrin's "After The Sunset".
More recently, Chris has been arranging and producing projects including 7 Billboard charting hits for Margo Rey/John Oats (of Hall and Oats) and the Beatles show, "Both" with Jason Paige of Pokemon fame. Chris' quintet, "Thelonious Monkey" has released 2 albums (his 29-30th as leader) followed by tours of the West Coast and Asia. As of 2017, Chris has 9 Grammy nominations and has been a featured artist at 27 PAS Day of Percussion events.
