Daniel Belloso

Daniel Belloso was born in 1990 in Caracas Venezuela. He started to play music at the age of 15 years old with national percussionists like Cruz Quintana, William Mora, Angel Utrera and Jesus Bosques, playing latin percussion. He began his academic formation at the Institute Of Musical Studies (IUDEM) where he attended to lessons from the master Roberto " El Lobo" Moreno and started to play with the Contemporary Music Ensemble At The Experimental National University Of The Arts , then he continued his studies at the Jose Angel Lamas Conservatory Of Music simultaneously with the Simon Bolívar Conservatory where he entered to the National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras of Venezuela (ElSistema), there he become one of the master Patricio "el chino" Diaz ´s students at his afrocuban percussion program, complementing afro Venezuelan percussion classes with the master Javier Suarez . Daniel has received master classes from great artists such as Luisito Quintero, Giovanni Hildago, Patricio "el chino" Diaz, Roberto Moreno, Ralph Irizarry, Alfredo Naranjo, Miguel Urbina, Diego "el negro" Alvarez. In 2010, he enters to the Simon Bolivar Latin Caribbean Orchestra and 2 years later he joined the Simon Bolivar Big Band Jazz, participating in national and international festivals like Caracas Jazz Festival 2014, VIII Festival Of Youth, International Jazz Festival Barquisimeto 2012, International percussion Festival Of Guanare 2012, and others. Daniel has played as special guest with several orchestras like Simon Bolivar Saxophones Ensemble, the Simon Bolivar Symphony Band and he has been accompanying artist like Ruben Blades, Alfredo Naranjo, Los Cadillacs, Oscarsito, Benavides, Divine, Jonathan molly, Miles Peña, Andres Briceño, Jass-Neology (Javier Josue Pinto), Perfusión (Javier Suarez). He has shared the stage with artist such a Luisito Quintero, Rodner Padilla, Victor Mestas, Alfredo Naranjo, Eddi Palmieri, Rafael "el pollo" Brito, Jimmy Bosch, Conrad Herwig, Alvaro Paiva, Brian Lynch, Andres Briceño, Linda Briceño and others. In 2014 he participated in two important recordings, the first one with the Simon Bolivar Latin Caribbean Orchestra, and the other one as special guest with the Simon Bolívar Orchestra Of Venezuela, in the same year he gave many percussion classes in several states of Venezuela with other musicians from the Simon Bolivar Big Band Jazz. In mid-2016, he performed a successful international tour of the United States accompanying a fusion jazz band called Nzila afrobeat proyect, a project that will broadcast and merge Afro-Venezuelan and African rhythms with genres such as funk, acid jazz, Neo Soul among others. At the end of 2016, he participates in several important recordings in the city of Miami with the musician, percussionist, maraquero Juan Ernesto Laya under the production of Omar Herrera, musician, producer, guitarist, bass player. In 2017 he had the opportunity to play in the first Big Band concert called Raices Jazz Orchestra, directed by Pablo Gil, composed by musicians such as Rodner Padilla, Roberto Moreno, Gil Pablo, Adolfo Herrera, Hugo Fuguet, Johan Escalante, Anthony Perez , Among others and where special guests like Maria Rivas, Tony Succar, Henry Linarez and Juan Ernesto Laya participate.
